Nearly one year after its development announcement (which was itself a year after the original idea of producing an F1.0 XF lens), we've gotten our hands on a pre-production copy of the Fujifilm XF 50mm F1.0 R WR. Offering a 75mm-equivalent field of view, it's the fastest-aperture mirrorless lens with autofocus that we've yet seen, and of course, offers wonderfully smooth blurred backgrounds for whatever subject you're pointing it at.
