Finalists for the 2022 Comedy Pet Photo Awards

30 shortlisted images were selected for the annual Comedy Pet Photo Awards, narrowed down from hundreds of entries submitted from nearly 70 countries. The competition was started by Paul Joyson-Hicks and Tom Sullam – two professional photographers who wanted to highlight the vital role pets play in our lives.

Comedy Pets donates £35,000 to animal welfare charities, what amounts to £10,000 each to 3 separate charities that care for and re-home abandoned animals: Dean Farm Trust, London Inner City Kitties and Wild at Heart Foundation. The overall winner of this year's competition will receive £5000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

All finalist photos can be viewed on the competition's website.
